A committee headed by retired Supreme Court judge KS Radhakrishnan was set up to lay down rules regarding road safety.The committee discussed the various issues including the elimination of fake driver licenses with the Federal Road Transport and Highways Department on November 28 last year.
The Driver-4 project is being prepared to eradicate pseudo-driving licenses, said the co-secretary. Steps are being taken to link the source with all driving licenses under this scheme.
In the course of discussion, the judge said that a software program (software) is being prepared to integrate all the states and this operation could not be made by anybody in any part of the country and anyone can not make a pseudo-driver license.
